We were greeted by the sight of thousands of tanned bodies lining the white sand! With much searching we found a blank spot of sand, dumped our stuff and dived in.

Sunset at Waikiki beach. After strolling down the beach we had dinner at a cute and tacky restaurant and watched the sun set over Waikiki - gorgeous!

Lava from Kiluea volcano pours into the sea. John at the Gemini observatory on top of Mauna Kea. We were late for our tour but got a quick and amazing one anyway. they had to keep the inside temp the same as the outside temp and thus there was ice on the floor inside the dome! Hannah and David on top of Mauna Kea next to the NASA Infra-red telescope. It was so cold but absolutely stunning, you can see the shadow of Muana Kea to the right of Hannah and David.
